This charming necklace is handcrafted with cotton wax rope and features beautiful jade and black onyx stones. With a lovely design and fine craftsmanship, this necklace was handmade in Thailand by artisan Tor.

Story Behind the Art:
Tor was a young professional working in Bangkok Thailand. He has always been interested in art and started dabbling in jewelry design. He then turned his jewelry designs into a business. Tor describes his story in his own words: 'My name is Tor. I actually have a graduate degree and worked for a private firm for several years. I began making jewelry as a hobby and soon realized that it was my true calling. I finally saved up enough capital to open my own store. With hard work and patience I now have a few employees whom I have taught my designs and they help me fulfill customer orders. I enjoy coming up with new designs and working with my customers to make beautiful and original jewelry.'

Onyx and jade necklace
This is a small necklace. Not as dramatic as Pictured. I wanted to return it but I am going to give it to a niece instead. Will look cute on a younger person. I like to support handicrafts but this was wad a little disappointing.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? The onyx I'd pretty but the jade is basically nonexistent . There is a tiny jade like ball on the clafoutis.
