Story Behind the Art:
This costume jewelry is handmade by a group of artisans in northern India. The process starts with assembly of beads. These beads themselves are handmade by various artisans in their cottages. These beads are then weaved. Artisans sit around in circle and start carefully weaving the beads as per the master sample approved by buyers. Every single piece that sells results in creation of employment for a couple of artisans in one of the most remote and under-privileged villages in India. This money then goes into upkeep of his family and education of his kids.

Beautiful statement piece
This is really pretty necklace but it is quite a large statement piece. I was hoping for something a little more delicate. It has beautiful colours that would totally make a neutral outfit - goes with so many colours - browns, greens, grays, white, blues black you name it.
