This is a fine quality deep-pile handmade rug. It is beautifully made and very contemporary in style - which I was looking for. The rug arrived very quickly - in 2-3 days. Unfortunately, it was not packed thoroughly - only one layer of heavy plastic wrapping material. Because it snowed during delivery from the warehouse - and also perhaps it had been in storage for a while, the rug was very dirty when it arrived. So at first the colors seemed drap. I vacuumed it carefully and got some improvement. But eventually I had it professionally washed and cleaned. It now looks resplendent !

nice colors, intricate workmanship...fits perfect for hardwood stair landing. Favorite rug from overstock so far.
