  Went through two of these, both arrived withOUT the mount plate mask shown in the photo. No one in customer service knew why... First had body cracked and chipped paint someone had filled in with magic marker. Both showed time and/or temperature issues as the ropes had moved up the drum about a 1/2 inch, way out of tune. Drum center moved a good 1/8 inch to pressure. Felt that retailer should be shipping instruments that were quality checked. Awaiting refund.

  It arrived as quickly as I could imagine in great condition beautifully packaged, I had never played a drum before but my friends who do were very impressed with the handsomeness, craftsmanship and sound of the drum. I already recommended it to two friends!

  It was fun in the beginning. Not sure if its not suitable for heavy handed people but I left it with my dad. One of the wires came loose. We don't mess with it anymore.
