Story Behind the Art:
When she was only 11, Heena's father passed away, leaving her mother, Heena, and her three younger siblings to support themselves. Heena left school and learned to embroider from her mother. They got sporadic work from local contractors, but sometimes they got paid and sometimes they didn't. A neighbor let them know about a new self-help group in their area, started with support from Tara Projects, a member of the World Fair Trade Organization. Heena is now 20 and has been working with them for two years. The workshop is nice, she is paid a living wage, and has clean water, medical insurance, and a savings plan. She is also able to save money for her marriage.

Poor Quality
Looked great when it arrive. But the metal changed color and became brown at the end of the first day of wear! I can believe i spent **$ on these. Buyers beware.

Beautiful Colors
I bought these for my sister-in-law, but with the jewels being wrapped around the hoop I felt she might think I was cheap so I keep them for myself because I love the colors.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I was a little disappointed. I couldn't tell in the photo that the jewels are wrapped around the hoop with wire.I thought they hung from a small hole.
- How accurate was the sizing? Good, these are pretty long.

Earrings
Didn't even open the package. Hope to return item. These were about three times the size I had expected. The picture is misleading and the earrings are much too large to wear.

- How accurate was the sizing? Not at all! I expected much smaller earrings. They are much too large for an old lady (I'm 81) to wear. Disappointed.
