I purchased this giraffe as a gift. It was delivered faster than expected and was bigger than I thought. I have purchased a lot of stuff from overstock.com and they haven't let me down yet.

I give this product a 5 star rating. The craftsmanship and intricate detail in this Muhugu Wood hand-carved Giraffe very impressive. I was very excited when I received it and I am excited to give it as a gift. I would recommend this product, highly, as a gift or as a focal item in an African setting.

I ordered this as a gift for a giraffe-lover, and the overall effect is excellent. Looking a little closer, I saw some places where the painting was just,...sloppy. In a couple of places the feet weren't painted at all, but that's the kind of hand-crafted defect that I don't mind. But in a couple of other places, the black paint from the feet was slopped onto the platform and just looks like poor workmanship. But that's only a tiny part of the work that went into the piece, and I plan to sand the black spots off the platfotm. My overall rating is that it's an eye-catching, beautiful piece and a very good value.

I have other hand carved giraffe's in various sizes, ranging 12" to 6'2" and this one is the very best of them all! I am very pleased with the attention given to its details. He is unique and lovely.This lil'guy is far more handsome in person. The camera angle doesn't actually do him justice. I have grown to really love the offerings from the Worldstock mechants.Thanks to O for handling them.
