- More than 50 percent of the product is made with recycled or post consumer materials
Items are made in a village called Bnei Tzion, the studio is run by Ika and Rami Hamburg. The silver used in this jewelry is also 90-percent recycled. The 2000 year old roman glass shards are also recycled. Ika and Rami have developed the unique way of setting roman glass, stones, and pearls into the silver, which is to inlay them rather than bezel set them, so that all these tiny materials are all hand placed and create a rich mosaic texture and look.

beautiful necklace
This necklace is a beautifully handcrafted piece. However, it is much smaller than it looks in the picture. the necklace itself is only 16 inches, but it is very delicate looking and wonderfully made. Overstock should have given the necklace length in the description. I would have still purchaced it, but would not have been suprised at its size when it arrived. The photo made it look 18 or 20 inches.
