Story Behind the Art
Khun Pacume learned to carve during the rice seasons while he waited for harvest from his father who learned from his father. His family works together with cousins as time allows and there are jobs to carve. He creates some of his own designs but most work is by customer commission or modifications of his original designs. Khun loves working with wood because it is peaceful and allows his family to earn extra money between seasons.

Awesome
I would reccomend this to anyone. It is beautiful. The wood is a beautiful color, height is perfect as an end table.

Cute side table
I bought as a small side table. I have rec'd a lot of compliments. It's a cute table, but has developed a few cracks. I don't mind the cracks so much as they add to the piece, I'm just concerned a little as to the functionality of the piece down the road as one crack appears to be getting larger. If the crack gets real bad, I'll just flip the piece over and it should still be usable.

Excellent, interesting piece
This is a very interesting piece, high quality, very heavy. I used it as a stool for a while, and now am using it as a side table. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful and unique but a touch too tall for seat
Beautiful one of a kind stools.. we bought two for our breakfast bar. They are about 1-2 inches too tall to be comfortable for an average height person (5-6 to 5-8) because to sit centered on it my feet dont touch the ground. I made small cushions and they are a little more comfortable to sit on now. Also would lIik great as side tables or plant stands
