Story Behind the Art:
Jose Marcos Luzalde Rosales is a self-taught artist who began to work at the age of 17 at a neighbor's workshop. After only a year, Marcos decided to venture on his own, gradually gaining renown for the beauty and quality of his work. Marcos has been dedicated to to this craft for over 35 years and to him it feels like only yesterday when he began. 'Woodwork makes me feel good about myself because it means it's a way of preserving an aspect of Peruvian artistry,' confides the carver.

Very pretty!
I liked this mirror because.......it's not JUST a "so so" typical mirror.... it adds a unique beauty & interest where ever you put it! It arrived in a timely manner and was very securely packed & padded in its box. Ready and easy to hang. The quality & workmanship is very nice. Love it!! Thank you Overstock! .

Mohena Wood Glass Sun Medallion Mirror
This mirror is stunning piece of art. I wasn't planning to hung it above the fireplace. But when I did, I put a flowering orchid in front of the mirror to get a focal point. Be careful hanging, it's quite delicate and fragile.
