I have been using this bag nearly everyday since its arrival. I had been tempted to buy it for a few months, and I am sorry it took me so long! It is perfect for Spring and Summer, made of hemp, so it looks and feels similar to a larger fiber unbleached linen. The colors of the decorations are vibrant against the natural grain of the material. It is a great size, too: it's not huge and cumbersome, which really doesn't go with the feel of the season, the material matches other Spring and Summer feeling fabrics, and it's big enough for sunglassed, cell phone, a compact and lip glass, as well as a wallet, Other smaller seasonal bags are so tiny that you have to choose between a cell phone and your keys! The biggest plus to this bag hopwever, is that Overstock has had the brilliant good sense to have items from Novica to add spice to their World Stock while giving exposure and economical benefits to artists from around the globe. I like this bag because it is unusual and artistic in appearance. The wooden closure on front flap is not especially easy to secure through the loop. This is a small bag, although will hold a medium-sized wallet, cell phone, keys and a few other small items.

Adorable bag! It is the perfect size and weight for summer. I am able to wear it cross-body for comfort and it holds all my necessities without being heavy or in the way. The first day I wore it , I received several compliments. I am sure it will be my go-to bag for the summer!

This item is much better than the picture. It comes wrapped in beautiful handmade paper that is a gift all by itself. It also comes with a personal note from the bags creater. I will definitely be buying NOVICA items frequently.

It was a little smaller than expected. But the wrapping was exquisite - I kept it all for the future..and the bag is very cute. Won't hold everything but still a perfect little bag and would make for a fantastic present.

The pictures simply don't do justice to this bag. I literally gasped when I opened the package and saw the quality of the embroidery and the vivid colors. It's almost too beautiful for everyday use.

Beautiful purse.I found the shoulder strap way too long though and had to make it shorter.

I saw this online while searching for a purse for myself, and it was perfect for my sister. Young 20 something kid who can't decide if she's a hippie, a skater, a rocker, a snowboarder, or what ever else (I guess she's a mix of it all). I've never seen her with a purse before, but this was small and unique - and she loved it. I see that she takes it with her everywhere now.

I haven't used it much yet because it is tinier than I thought, but it's very pretty and I love hemp. This would make a really thoughtful gift and I love that it's hand-made w/out using any animal products.

i had to return mine because of a little glitch w the strap, but really, i would order this again and i would recommend this to anyone who wants a arty, one of a kind bag
