I bought this as a gift for someone who seems to like nothing anyone ever buys him - unless he specifies what you buy. He is an extraordinary chef and I thought this was unique. I have never seen him so happy after opening a present from me!! He was ecstatic! I had read mixed reviews so was a bit nervous about the purchase- but the size and workmanship was perfect, just like the picture. This is a winner!!

I received a very differently styled cup - not at all as shown. The cup was very rough, had been "rough sanded" with gouges showing that had not been taken out. The style was completely different - looked like a coffee cup. and the top edges were chipped and split, so there were sharp edges. This is a horrible product.

This product will do just fine sitting on the table. My family thought it was a cute way of putting salt on the table.

This product exceeded my expectations. I purchased it as a gift, and my friend was delighted. She had just looked at something similar at a boutique; but, didn't buy it because it was nearly twice the price on Overstock.

I loved this little spice bowl. I gave it to my daughter as a gift. She enjoys cooking and I thought she'd enjoy a special way to present a certain spice for the table for friends. She uses it for sea salt. It is rather small, but that is what makes it so quaint.

I didn't realize the bowl and spoon would be so small. The fact that it was handcrafted persuaded me to keep the item. I use the item to store black pepper and I use the spoon to sprinkle when needed.

I bought 4 of these to use as individual salts for table settings--I just got them and they are WONDERFUL. I almost didn't buy them when I saw the dimensions because the picture made them seem a lot larger but each are unique and adorable. If purchasing more than 1 to be used as a set--this is not for the type of person that wants them to be exactly the same....for me, that is what makes them so charming and looks like art!

Wonderful little bowl that I gave as a gift to a salt collector. Smaller than I thought, but I did not look at the measurements. Receiver loved it!

I ordered 2 of these spice bowls because I knew once I saw I would want one for myself. They are beautifully carved. Both are different. I use mine to store salt for use in cooking on my counter. They make a great gift for some one who enjoys cooking. It also adds a conversation piece for anyone who hasn't seen one before. Nice gift. Good price.

This hand carved piece is beautiful! It is perfect for keeping sea salt or other frequently used spices at hand in a unique way. The carving is going with the wood grain making it a pleasure to look at too. Great gift idea for the chef in your life...

I was very disappointed when I received this item I had ordered 2 of them, they were so small I could have used them in my niece's doll house. I had wanted to give them to my sister as she collects items like this and has bought many in the past from free trade companies, but this was a joke. I am going to return these both .

I have ordered this wood spice bowl in the past and it was fabulous. I ordered two this time and I am not impressed! One came without a handle and a crazy bent up spoon....you can't even use it. The other is about twice the size of my first one I ordered and looks like it was turned on a machine in China not hand made. I don't know if I will try ordering again or if the carvers aren't as good as the ones in the past.
