Story Behind the Art
We met Eugene Jacques and Carlos Brutus in Croix des Bouquets, an area of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti known for artisans who make oil drum art. The constant hammering from the sheds in the area led us to beautiful metalwork, with each stop offering new designs. Their shed was tucked behind several others and yielded unique three-dimensional masks with cogs and bicycle chains for earrings. Each piece is a signed work of art.

Whimsical
Not sure why the reviews from before are no longer posted, but that is what helped me decide to purchase this item. It is a great whimsical piece and from a previous review that I read the color is brown and not so much silver-toned like the picture shows, but I am glad because it is perfect for my decor. Not as heavy as I would have expected it to be, but it will not need as much support to hang.
