Story Behind the Art:
This group of artisans forms a small co-op of their own and the work is outsourced to them by various manufacturers. They live in small houses with their families or some of them (if single) live away from home and send back money to support their family in the villages. They are paid by the piece; their daily life is making and assembling jewelry, bell hangings and wind chimes. Most of them are now able to send their children to school. All these pieces are done/assembled in the State of Uttar Pradesh (in northern India).

Stunning
This has been one of my favorite purchases from Overstock... but then again I could say that with every new purchase I make it seems. These bells are beautiful and unique. The sound is breath taking, it is just absolutely beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for some bells.

disappointing....
I really really wanted to like this set of outdoor bells. The good: The sound is beautiful-- much prettier than my woodstock chimes. The bad: it is so cheaply made and came rusted already-- the rust actually colored my hands. (I gave it two stars because the sound was great, instead of zero stars for the workmanship). I suppose if you didn't have to look at it, just hear it, the price would be worth it. We regretfully returned it in the next day's mail.

Very nice bells!
I have this hanging from our rain gutter right outside our back porch windows so we can enjoy it. It will need a pretty stiff breeze to ring on it's own, so that hasn't happened yet. The chiming is very pleasant and somewhat quiet, so it won't bother the neighborhood cranky pants who does not like chimes!

7 Nana bells
Happy to receive the prooduct, but disappointed that it immediately began to rust when placed outside on my patio. Each small bell developed rust after on 2-3 days outside.Will try to find another location, but purchase was for outside area.
