Bought it as a 30th birthday gift for my son. We were both really struck by the handsomeness of this item. The size is perfect not to be a cumbersome decorative item, but roomy enough to hold a number of odds and ends as well as jewelry, papers etc.. Well crafted. The small key is lovely and the lock works well. All in all a perfect gift; I would add that the dark wood make it more of a "masculine" item. Great product.

A very nice buy! Class and style in one - looks good on a dresser. SOLID!

I liked the box, however, upon receipt the brass plates were slightly dinged in various areas and the brass was tarnished and needed polishing. But all in all it was a nice box.

The wooden box was acceptable. What was of poor quality was the manufacturing of the interior of the box itself. The upper tray was too tight and the ribbons to pull it out came came off when I removed the tray to inspect the box. The excess glue used was clearly visible.

This jewelry box shows as much more expensive than it is. Very carefully packaged and shipped. Solid and nicely crafted. She'll think you spent a lot more money. Use your savings to drop a nice pair of onyx ear rings inside.

I read the reviews before I bought this beautiful jewlery box, but you know there were some people who weren't satisfied with their purchase. I was a little skeptical about buying it since I've never ordered a piece of nice furniture on the internet, and because of those few people who didn't like their purchase. This jewlery box is absolutely beautiful. I chose the dark rosewood finish, and I am delighted to own this box. It was delivered in 2 boxes, one inside of the other. Excellent workmanship went into building this jewlery box. If anything ever happens to it, I would not hesitate at all to buy another, if they still make it by that time. I highly recommend this jewlery box to whomever is out there looking for one. Worldstock makes beautiful things, and I hope I can own a few more things made by artisans of their country. Good job!

This is a very gorgeous piece of craftmanship. Bought it for my wife for christmas and am very satisfied, so is she. I looked at a lot of other products out there and this seemed to be the best buy, If you are thinking of getting this, do it.

this box was purchased as a gift for an 8-year-old girl. when it arrived I was impressed -- it looks high-end and special. it is lined and has a lift-out tray. something the recipient will treasure for many years
