Story Behind the Art:
During high school, Mariana Gonzalez work as a painter's apprentice. 'I combined these activities with my class work until I graduated, and continued for another three years. I hold a degree in industrial engineering at the same time that I paint. I'm passionate about both, because there's always something new to learn. Both have a great deal to do with art, with imagination, inventiveness and passion. Since 1989, my paintings have been exhibited in Mexico, U.S. and Puerto Rico.'

Stunning
This is a stunning piece. I have always been a bit worried about buying art by internet. But Mariana Gonzalez art is everything that the description in Overstock.Com said it would be. You need quite a large wall to do justice to this triptych, because there is real depth in painting. The online picture doesn't quite do it credit in that it seems to be darker around the edges, in reality, there is much more of the green/yellow in the background. I would really recommend this artist, and would seriously look at other artwork by her.
