The Story Behind the Art
'My name is Luh Mas Sri Pertamiari. My village has been renowned as a woodcarving center in Bali for many years. We may be familiar because of the men carvers, however the fantastic thing is that almost 90 percent of the women know how to carve. From a young age, boys and girls are introduced to carving. When I was a child, together with my two brothers, we learned wood carving, painting and sanding. I started to do some carvings at home, and opened a small workshop near my house as for people to see and appreciate my carvings.'

Perfect
It's much better than pictured. The wood is smooth, hand carved, and flawless as things go. It was the perfect gift for anyone who is mildly spiritual. Bigger than expected, which makes it seem much more expensive than it is.

Perfect!
This statue arrived very quickly and very well packed. It was a bit larger than I expected, but still looks great on my bookshelf. It looks exactly like the picture. I love it.

Too Cool
I love my levitating man. It completes the mood in my great room of a calm Zin feeling I am trying to achieve. All eyes rest for a while on this delightful artwork when they see it for the first time. It is a conversation peice and looks way more expensive than it actually was. Some reviews said the wood quality was not good, but I am very please with my particular figure. The carving and the quality overall is beautiful and is pretty much exactly as represented in the picture and the description. I feel it is a great value and I recommend it for the quality of the workmanship and artistic expression.
