This beautiful piece was created in the villages of Jepara, on the north coast of Java, which is renowned for their furniture skills and craft. These villages depend greatly on the production of furniture like this to support their families.

great for needs
the location I needed this table to fill only allows its top to be seen. this is perfect because I'm not crazy about the shiny quality of the finish. If it weren't so shiny, I'd have probably found another place for it because, it is nice looking. It is exactly the perfect height. the remotes stash easily in the little drawer. not at all hard to assemble. good deal for the price. I don't get the feeling it would hold up well to a lot of knocking around use but, for my house it will be fine.

Did need to be modified
While the holes for the feet did have to be drilled out in order to attach, we are pleased with this piece. The color is deep and rich and goes well with our existing pieces. We hosted a New Year's Eve party and no one could believe we ordered it from Overstock. It has a bit more shine than we would prefer, but it is fine. We have it between 2 chairs in our living room near the front door. It's a great 'landing' place and is the perfect height and size for our needs. The drawer is handy and pulls and closes easily.We love it.

Cheap, fake wood!
I ordered two tables based on the previous reviews and was very dissapointed in the quality of the product. The wood is definitely fake (pressboard) and the finish is very shiny and plastic-like. The previous reviews made it seem like this was something better . Made in China, not Indonesia, and I've seen better quality at Wal-Mart for less money. However, I must say that the customer service at Overstock is phenomenal. I contacted them and they are sending me a return label today. I've been ordering from Overstock for a while and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied with a product. Because of their outstanding service I will continue to shop here.

arrived super speedy & was a cinch to put together
The table is terrific! It arrived overnight and was quick and easy to put together. The wood is perfect and shiny and looks great between the 2 leather club chairs I have in the reading room. I've ordered lots of things from overstock and again I wasn't disappointed!

Tables were perfect as bedside tables!
I had been looking for some time for beside tables that were taller than average. These tables are the correct height and the size is perfect as a small bedside table.

one was broken on the side like a hit .
one came broken I choosed not to return I did not want the bothered but everything was ok with the broken one I could tell its soft delicate wood.

Nice
This is a perfect little table for my entryway. It looks beautiful and expensive. The only reason I gave it four starts instead of five is because my husband had to drill the holes a little bit bigger, otherwise the legs would not have fit in properly. It looks great now.
