Wayan Asmana is a master silversmith from Sukawati, long regarded as Bali's most important jewelry center. Asmana learned his craft when he was in elementary school. When Asmana returned to his village after university, he married his beautiful bride. Then he set about starting his own jewelry workshop where he designed and crafted a variety of gold and silver accessories. Setting up on his own is difficult. Asmana tells of the time, three years ago, when a foreign tourist bought almost $1,200 worth of products. When Asmana went to the bank to change the dollars into into rupiah, he was told the money was counterfeit. Your purchase helps craftsmen like Asmana earn a living with their wonderful skills.

I love this piece! It does pull the baby hairs a little but it is so versitile. I do wish I could add pendants to it however with the clasp so large nothing so far fits. It is well made and a great addition to your collection!

It looks great with everything i wear. the creaftsmanship is excellent quality. I get great compliments daily. It can be worn by itself or with a pendant. I prefer wearing it alone.
