This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China and run by a wonderful family that we here at Overstock.com have befriended over the course of several years. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The workers always seem to be smiling and are often excited to have new visitors. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff (my stomach can attest to this), the workers' clothes are clean and the environment seems organized and well run. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

Absolutely Great!
I have looked in many places for a good planter container. This one is by far the best I have found. It is attractive and beautifully adorned. Get one if you need a planter. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THAT THE INTERIOR OF THE PLANTER IS NOT FINISHED AS WELL AS THE EXTERIOR. I AM USING THIS PLANTER AS A TRASH BASKET IN MY DEN.
