Most Moroccan artisans vary in education from the 8th to 12th grade level. Instead of attending college, they choose to carry on the traditional craft of their fathers and grandfathers. To learn the craft, they enter an apprenticeship on a part time basis as a teenager. In speaking to a Moroccan artisan, one will find that he/she is very proud of their art form. If the father is an artisan then the son will almost always learn the father's trade. It is the responsibility of the son to look after his family and he inherits the secrets of the craft from his father or grandfather. 'Harfa' means craft. It is important to keep the craft in the family.

the lamp looks exactly as shown
At first glance I was happy and then I saw that the bulb base is on the bottom unattached and no bulb included....not as they indicate. I can't even find the place inside where the base is supposed to be attached to. I'm desperate that my money was such a waste. Will try to return.
