The first journals Isaac Childs created in 1998 drew admiration and applause from delighted friends and family. After significant interest from local ski resorts and boutiques, he knew he had found support for his high-quality handmade leather products. On the strength of top-grain cowhide and proprietary tanning recipes, Isaac's company has become a respected maker of handmade and custom leather products. They make handmade products that are 100-percent American from materials to craft. They purchase all leathers from tanners here in the United States. They use either post-consumer recycled paper to help with the environment or a cotton-rag blended paper that is excellent for all types of writing or drawing instruments.

Good Product
Good product but takes a few weeks before it is shipped, likely since they are handmade. Would have given it an "Excellent" but I feel it is a bit overpriced.

Beautiful hand made in US
Bought this for a traveling family member who keeps a journal. It's very very nice; something special and to keep for a lifetime. HOWEVER, delivery took several weeks (ordered Dec 23 and received Jan 15). Journals are handmade; allow extra time over a typical O order. Definitely a 5 star product.

Leather Journal
The journal is beautiful. The leather is supple and the paper is substantial and will likely stand up to frequent use. The rustic hand-binding makes it even more charming. I got it as a gift for a dear friend, and I was very pleased with the quality. I would not hesitate to purchase another in the future.
