Story Behind the Art:
This product was handmade by skilled men and women artisans from different regions of Marrakesh in Morocco. The process of making these pieces has been passed on from generation to generation. Also as these artisans work closely with designers, adding a contemporary twist to their work which makes their products unique and more sophisticated. Some artisans work in a workshop and some work from their homes, especially women who are a stay-home moms. They have the skills and they like to contribute to the economy while taking care of their children and homes. Making these pieces makes a living for these artisans, and the more they sell, the more they can better the lives of their families.

Color is way off
The color of these were way off. The color of the stiching matches what is shown online, but the leather was a mauve tone. And they were unevenly stuffed. Dissappointed, but too lazy to return them.

I still like the pouf, but only after having to accept the fact that it would cost too much and be too much of a hassle to ship it back and ask for a more accurate color. It's a light pink leather with purple stitching...a far cry from the matching fuchsia displayed on the website.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? The biggest draw back was that the color absolutely did NOT match the color on the website...the leather color nor the stitch color was anything remotely similar to what I was I was getting.
