Story Behind the Art:
In small town along the Central coast of Viet Nam, Le Anh Nguyen and a small group of artisans have been perfecting bamboo items for many years. Bamboo is a wonderful, renewable resource that is environmentally responsible. Our artisans use numerous pieces of flattened dry bamboo strips to create this food safe bowl, which takes nearly 60 days to complete. Clean with soap and warm water making sure piece is thoroughly dry. We ensure that the artisans are paid fairly and work in safe conditions. The purchase of this product will help artisans provide food and shelter to their communities as well as generate money to put their children through school.
What is Worldstock?
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
