These are very pretty stones, but they are denim lapis not lazuli. I thought the lighting in the picture was off. It was not. The beads are the exact color that's shown. I'll keep the beads and string them with other beads, but they are not the deep violet blue of lapis lazuli.

Everything about the stones was perfect except I didn't realize, even though the title said it, that there was no clasp. I really needed a necklace with these stones and not a string of lovely stones. My fault for not reading carefully.

I maintain that the sizing is accurate for these beads, but I also think the picture is misleading. It makes it seem like the necklace is long enough to slip over the wearer's head without a clasp, which isn't actually possible. It's also a strand instead of a closed necklace. However, if you intend to use these beads to build a necklace, they're sufficient for a choker with a clasp. I gave them to my sister and she was very happy with them, but she likes making necklaces; if you or your recipient are looking for a necklace you can already use, this isn't it. The quality's still great, though! The beads are a lovely rich blue veined with streaks of gold.

These I'm very impressed with. Some of the other Lapis has been cheep and poor in color. With these I can make something worth wearing.
