This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Nice
The plant stand is very nice and fits nicely in a small corner/area. I found the picture and description were not quite accurate. I got the red but it's not red as we typically think of red. It is more burgundy which better matches my decor. Also I was expecting it to be highly polished lacquer but it's not shiny at all. In fact, it's very dull. All in all I'm pleased with the plant stand eventhough the color and finish turned out different than expected.

Lacquer plant stand
Absolutely beautiful. However, be careful when unpacking it. I accidently broke one of its filegree corners. I super glued it back together and painted it. It looks wonderful now. The stand is much more elegant than the photo shows and is larger.
