Artisan Story
This group of artisans forms a small co-op of their own and the work is outsourced to them by various manufacturers. They live in small houses with their families or some of them (if single) live away from home and send back money to support their family in the villages. They are paid by the piece; their daily life is making and assembling jewelry, bell hangings and wind chimes. Most of them are now able to send their children to school. All these pieces are done/assembled in the State of Uttar Pradesh (in northern India).

Whimsical Yard Art
Cute and whimsical, this chime is perfect for adding a little fun to your porch or patio. Not really a "chime" but the eye appeal is enough.

So-so
In person this is under-whelming. It is a modest wind chime. In fact, it doesn't really chime, since the bells are somehow not properly attached. Couldn't be bothered to return it, so it hangs on the porch.

Too fragile
It is lovely to hear, but I cannot put it outside as the small rings break. I don't care as I will re-string it. I love the cat design.

cute kitty
This is a clever, cute wind-chime or window hanging. The craftsmanship was a bit rough, but it IS a world-stock item. I am going to give it as a gift, and i do wish the cut-out shapes were a bit more detailed, but I still intend to gift it.
