Wasn't disappointed. This was a gift. I was told she likes it.
It looks a lot nicer in the photo. It is sturdy and fits twice the spoons then a normal utensil vase. I thought it would look nice in my contemporary kitchen. I was wrong. It looks very much out of place. I would only recommend this to someone who has a log cabin type of decor. Then it looks nice.
