Received my Kashan hand-knotted rug a couple of weeks ago and am VERY happy with the purchase. The colors are quite a bit brighter than the picture, which was fine by me since quite a few of the other reviews I have read lead me to the conclusion that this rug would probably be brighter too. The rug is very large, so I would recommend taking measurements of your room prior to buying. Our room has Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors and a dark cream colored sectional with a leather base and dark oak pedestal "feet". The rug compliments the red shades in the floor and the lighter cream color of the sofa very well. I would imagine that the rug will look very nice in any room where you're trying to tie light and dark colors together, especially where the flooring tends toward darker rather than lighter. We're very happy with the purchase and some of the people I've shown it to can't believe the price I paid.

I was very apprehensive when I clicked the "buy" button on my rug purchase. But I must say I think that I got a great deal. The rug looks wonderful (under a pool table) and if I am ever in the market again for a big rug I'll head straight back to Overstock.com. The only thing I didn't get was any information nor documentation as to the origin/age of my rug but for the price I'm still more than satisfied.

I have received this via Fedex and was a bit nervous since this was a large item and almost cost a thousand dollar, but after placing it in the living room I was pleasantly surprised on the look that made our living room looked lively and its well worth the price we paid.
