Different, edgy, neat!
I am very pleased with the stools. The add a "punch" to my kitchen. They are edgy (I bought two) and have the "wow" factor that I wanted. The fact that they are adjustable is an added plus. They arrived promptly. The assembly was simple - just unpack the top and the base then attach the top. The base was pretty much over-kill on the packaging: a lot of added padding. But the tops could have used more padding for the transit. One top was dinged on the side, but it was easily remedied by my husband. Great price for such a neat and different stool!

Iron swivel stool in nickel
The swivel stool looks very similar to one available at Crate and Barrel furniture which costs $200. The difference is the quality . . . The only issue that I have with this stool is the the lower rim of the seat which is what you will grab first when sitting down is very rough and uneven, almost to the point where you might cut yourself if not careful. The bottom iron edge of the seat has not been properly sanded or smoothed out in any way. Other than that, it is as described. Maybe I can sand that lower seat edge.

Classic Piece
had been looking at vintage industrial stools in various shops for my office, and came across this overstock item referenced on an interior designer's blog. I've purchased a number of items from overstock in the past, so I had no hesitation in checking it out. only disappointment -- it was out of stock! i was resigned to continue my search elsewhere, but was so surprised to get an email a few weeks later informing me that the item was back in stock. even better was the overstock.com price -- amazingly affordable compared to the vintage versions. was tremendously pleased when the item arrived so quickly, and it fit perfectly in the space. The stool is solid, and still has that classic vintage appeal.

Seat isn't level
This stool looks good but the finish is not completely smooth and it snags clothing every time I sit on it. The seat is also not perfectly level so I constantly have to swivel it to face a certain way so that it isn't pitched slightly back or off to the side. Ergonomically it could be difficult to use over an extended period of time. Again, it looks good but the attention to detail is not the best.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This stool has a vintage look and is very well made! I purchased it for a desk in our kitchen and also as additional seating at our counter. It is very sturdy at the raised height, as well! It matches the oil rubbed bronze hardware in our kitchen and is a perfect fit! You will love this stool!

great for price
I love these stools,would order them again, however first time I ordered them the finish was a bit shinier. To be expected in different orders. Not a problem for me though. The adjustable part makes them perfect for everything. I use them as counter stools, and they go high enough for small children. I also am sitting on one now at my desk. We also use them for piano stools. Very versatile.

Swive,wobbly
I really like the stool the only problem I have is that seat wovels too much, when you put past certain height. I want to use it for a business but I don't think i can since they got this problem. I think I have to find a way to fix this.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality seems good the only thing I do not like is the wavoling of the seat, oviously the higher you pull it out the more wovel you get.
