'Hello. My name is J. Blas. From the time I was small I have enjoyed arts and crafts. Eventually I changed directions and began to work in wrought iron and blown glass. I started to experiment with sheets of iron of different weights to give my works more movement. Currently I have my own workshop where we craft a variety of products, mostly decorative. We cut the metal sheets and hammer them into shape. Then we weld them and add the details. After that, they are treated to retard rust before we paint them with a special, lead-free paint. We are the first workshop in the area to utilize a fine blowtorch as a work tool and to give more originality to our products. Every piece created at my workshop goes hand in hand with originality, design and quality. We are always developing new designs and products.'

Great piece
This is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted something nice for our new beach house that wasn't cheesy but still tropical and summery. This is a well made work of art that will look great on the wall.

UNEXPECTED
Beware, this coat hook is huge. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions, but I have a small entryway now monopolized by an enormous, slightly creepy sun face. It just really doesn't work for me, but may be too delicate to ship back. It seems to be well-made, just kind of overwhelming, the wrong scale for my house.

It's okay
The welds on the piece are very noticeable, where the hooks are welded to the piece itself. Not smoothed out at all, just a big hunk of metal. I use it in the bedroom and hang my necklaces from the hooks. It looks good. Also, the face of the sun is made of a plaster-like material with paint over it. It was chipped when I received it but decided it wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back. Overall, nice piece, not real substantial though.
