Foolishly, I believed the description. I should know better. Nevertheless, I thought that "red" really meant the color red. No such luck. There is NO RED in this carpet. The 'red' description is misleading; the color is BURGUNDY/RUST. IT IS NOT RED. The other rug colors are bright and nice, but I wanted bright red, not the muted burgundy.

The rug arrived from Overstock very neatly packaged, but when I unrolled it there were about five bent nails and bunch of little sticks and rocks right in the middle! So that was weird. Then, upon close inspection I found a few flaws. There are some places where the stitching is messed up (small round flat areas of randomly colored thread, for example) and others where the dye seems to have bled. When I lightly rubbed one area with a damp paper towel after dropping something on it, the paper towel came up red with dye. Also the fringe is red in some places. But only I would notice most of these things and it's still much, much nicer than anything else in this price range for this size.

The rug is better than it appeared. A great value and a great carpet.

This rug has beautiful bright colors and really brightened up my living room. Seems very well made. Would have been 5 stars except the fringe on one side is shorter than on the other.

Delivery was prompt. The color looks even better in person. This is a rich beautiful rug and I am happy to have it in my house.

I love this rug! Colors are great. I will say--I don't think the pictures are very representative of the product, but it is BEAUTIFUL and I was very pleased! I have bought over 5 rugs for my home though overstock, and only be unpleased with one...I tried getting something less expensive, and well..I was disappointed!
