My daughter helped me pick this rug for her newly redecorated room that is painted in shades of blue and indigo. It was going to go on the floor, but we decided to hang it on the wall after we got it - its just that striking. I also couldn't bear the thought of this beautiful rug getting stained and walked on - this isn't a rug you want to put in a heavy traffic area.The colors are just as they appear on the site, very natural, very 'earthy'. The cat seems to be alive and watching you as it runs down the road in the moonlight. With our color scheme I think the words 'magic' and 'pops' are about right. Thanks Overstock!
