    My name Ishtyaq and I was born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh. Our family has a very long association with the art of carpets, dating back to before Indian Independence. I grew up seeing my father and uncles weave beautiful carpets. I would see them work everyday, from reeling the yarns to weaving to completing exquisite carpets.

    • It's more Art then Rug!

      I purchased this rug because the colors went perfectly with the colors in my sitting room. First, the negative; the rug is extremely expensive for 3x2. The blue color in the rug is very bright and brilliant in the display however in reality the blue is a faded light baby blue. The positive; the rug is very colorful and is different from the boring typical solid color rugs. It's too small to be a "real" rug so I've actually put it on top of a wine color 5x8 area rug and it works well. Very costly for the size, but it's one of a kind.
