I was very disappointed with the color of the rug when it arrived because it looks nothing like the picture. I expected it to be a true blue but it more of a light aqua. I would return it but for the price of around $$$ it is just easier to keep it than try to ship it back.

This is a very good bargain. I was having trouble finding a blue rug and took a chance on this one based on the description. The colors are not exactly light blue and ivory, however. It may be the natural dyes, but the blue changes under different light, from a gray-blue in daylight to a teal in cool lamp light. It only looks light blue under incandescent lighting. The border is more beige than ivory in my opinion. Nonetheless, it is a very lovely area rug. It has great detailing and there's a soft red flower accent that makes it "pop". I have a red sofa so they go well together. The quality and workmanship is excellent. It looks much more expensive and slightly antiqued because of the softer shades. It isn't exactly muted, just softer color tones. It appears to be well made, and the wool provides warmth on my otherwise cold wood floors. I like that it is both attractive, yet subtle and doesn't overpower the room. Also, after laying the rug down on the living room floor, my cat inspected it carefully, flopped down and gave me a two-paws up approval of it, so what more can I say.

We have it in our dining room, the picture is a good representation of the colors.
