Product Features
Serapi is a trade name given to better quality examples of Heriz rugs thought to have been woven before 1900. Such rugs are sometimes called Serapi Heriz. Heriz is a city in northwestern Iran, near Tabriz--itself a major rug-weaving center. The world famous Heriz rugs have their own unique style and are easily distinguishable from other design.
Tip: We recommend the use of a non-skid pad to keep the rug in place on smooth surfaces.
