Story Behind the Art:
This rug was created in the Varanasi region of India, in the Bhadohi village. These rugs are made by Mahmood Alam and his family. They are hand-tufted in their own homes, and everyone in the family helps out in the process of rug making, from his wife, Shakiba, to the youngest daughter, Jamila. They process the wool themselves, in their home, prior to making the rugs. All washing, spinning and dyeing of the wool are done in their home.

Very nice
I made my decision to purchase this little rug after reading another buyers good recommendation. I must say I'm not disappointed. Very nice, thick pile, pretty color and pleased overall. I have it inside the entranceway on the linoleum and it's very attractive. My kitty's really like it too. ^=..^=

Very satisfied with this rug. No fuzzies, dense pile, high quality, made to last. Doesn't show the dirt in our high-traffic kitchen, and vacuums well. Color shown on website is accurate.
