I come from a long lineage of carpet weavers. I was taught by my father and older brothers, and at the time it was like a game that offered moments of great fun. It felt so amazing when I finished my first piece! At first my designs were simple and now, as I've gained mastery, they are more intricate. Nowadays people are more demanding, not only in design, but also in terms of quality and price. It's therefore my responsibility to fulfill people's expectations and requirements. Nowadays there are more opportunities for us with exhibitions happening every now and then. In 2002, I won National Award for one of my hand-woven dhurrie rugs.

Beautiful Rug!
Beautiful wool rug. I am very pleased with the purchase. Its too early to tell how well it holds up with use, but it appears to be of good quality with tight stitching. The rug is quite thin and lays well out of package. Does slip a bit on wood floor and I would recommend a mat underneath.

Nice rug
I was expecting the colors to be more vivid like on the photo so was a bit disappointed to find the colors flatter, less defined. That said, I still like the rug a lot, as it brings to life a previously dull hallway area in my home. Would buy it again.

I love the rug! The colors matched the online pictures, beautiful orangy reds, burgundy, olive, and gold, trimmed in black. So glad we chose this rug for our living room.

nice, colors not what expected
The "coral" is more of a rust... not at all how it looked in the photo. However, it's a very nice rug.

all about looks
i purchased this rug for the look of it, not so much of the feel. the rug goes great with a bohemian, indian, yoga inspired home. the coral is more of a toned down orange then pink (i was scared it would be too pink). this rug is very flat and provides no plush or padding.
