    Story Behind the Art:

    Mahal rugs traditionally favor bold floral designs with spacious patterns and are made with pure and natural dyes in dark red, blue, soft green, gold and ivory. Their hand-spun wool is usually from the weaver's own sheep. Within wide, bold borders, Mahal rug designs are based on small repeating florals plus large scale all-over lattice vine patterns. Mahal rug designers simplified the designs by creating a special work of art with unique character. Mahal carpets have become carpets of the highest decorative value to interior designers and discriminating collectors.

    Even though the colour was not right, I kept the rug. It is really very nice and excellent quality.

    • Did the color match the color displayed onsite? Not really, it is much lighter, paler than the picture. Still very nice, but not exactly what I wanted

  • This rug is beautiful

    The rug has done next to no shedding - granted we just got it. The pile is thick and easy on the tootsies. We are very, very pleased. This was for our new wood flooring and it fits into the decor like a glove. I will be purchasing from Overstock again. Also NO CHILD LABOR was used in the production of the rug.

    • Did the color match the color displayed onsite? the colors are less vibrant but it is still a beautiful rug. Everyone's monitor displays different so I knew that it would most likely be off.
    • How accurate was the sizing? it seems to be 3 x 5 and not
