Chirada: 'My parents worked in agriculture before turning to handicrafts. They opened a workshop in Chiang Mai, which I look after, and now they have another one in Bangkok. I have always been interested in handicrafts that are made from natural materials, so I observed and learned from magazines, books, television programs and everything around me. I started with textiles and, by 2000, I was transforming textiles into clothes and dresses. By late 2005 and the beginning of 2006, I was tooling leather handbags, which appealed to many people. All of my designs are about our Thai lifestyle. I adapt local styles with modern trends.'

I ordered this bag to use for the summer. I am thrilled with it. It is very unique. The bag is well constructed and beautifully crafted. I bought this purse to give to my college age daughter as a Christmas gift. It is absolutely beautiful!! The colors are true to the display, it is quality made as far as I can tell, lots of room, it shipped very quickly. Would recommend!!

Liked the idea of it
I liked the idea of having a unique purse vs. ordering a brand name. Like the way the purse straps are made to go over body and free hands up. Bought it to use now (just turned Spring) and am carrying it, but the appearance looks more of a Fall color. I may put it back until Fall. Shippig was accurate, but if you're wanting it right away, just be aware that it takes a little longer for it to be at your door.
