Artisans use designs inspired by traditional Agra motifs handed down from generation to generation for centuries to recreate the coveted hand-crafted, natural and antique appearance in rugs designed for today's lifestyles.

Defective Rug
Rug is much less true red than appears (more burgandy); border had section that was definitely a different shade of blue and throughout the rug there were inconsistencies in the colors. For instance a flower might be beige throughout the rug and then randomly be black in one spot. Basically this rug appeared to be a "second." I guess that explains why the rug was $1K more on other websites. I realized that I would never have purchased a rug in this condition in a store and therefore returned it. Customer service was amazing and covered the shipping costs because the product was defective, but I still had the hassle of trying to wrap a 100 lb rug for shipping!
