Story Behind the Art:
Husband and wife team that met traveling in Asia 17 years have created a socially responsible initiative that supports those very rare surviving artisan groups in Asia. The accessories from China are organized by a family with whom they have worked for many years. They organize small tailoring groups where the workers are paid by piece for their efforts. No factory or child labor is ever used. Workers are paid higher than average wages and are free to move on at any point. Typically there are waiting lists to become a tailor with their artisan groups. Most of the families we supported by this initiative have gone from having no running water to purchasing land, motorized vehicles and sending their children to college. Thank you for supporting this ever growing initiative with great artisans that now have the ability to expose their products to the global market.

Disappointed
The quality of the bag was adequate but the zipper was faulty. Upon receipt of the bag I opened the package and unzipped and attempted to rezip the bag without much success. I got to practice a bit as I had ordered 6 of them for a planned overnight pajama party. Only one of the bags had a functional zipper the remaining split and had to be zipped and rezipped numerous times to hold, two never did. I will be returning two of the bags as the zippers just wouldn't work.

Nice size
I like the look of this bag. It seems sturdy and I can't wait to take it to the beach. There aren't any pockets inside, so that is a downside to me, but it will function well. Price is good for such a large bag.
