Individually handcrafted by artists on the exotic islands of Bali and Java in beautiful Indonesia. Sarongs are one of the most versatile and earliest forms of clothing that dates back 1,000s of year and have been utilized around the world in one form or another. These artists and their predecessors have been creating sarongs for centuries and are well known throughout the world for their skill, creativity and expertise. Specifically their skills in batik, which many of our sarongs are made using this art of batik. Batik is a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master and sons and daughters start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Each batik sarong is a work of art and can take hours and sometimes days to create depending on the difficult of the design.

Great Christmas Gift
I bought this Sarong for my boyfriend's mother as a Christmas gift in anticipation of her upcoming vacation to Aruba. She loved it! I had it shipped directly to her and she received it in just a few days. The colors are beautiful - very vibrant. There were instructions right on the product page for how to tie a sarong, which was very helpful for her. The price was right...such a great value and a great gift. I would recommend this product!
