The Story Behind the Art
Bima Trading retains the services of various artisans spread throughout Indonesia to handcraft the funiture that we design for the United States market. These artisans work from home in their villages. Each village specializes in a particular craft and style. Bima, in conjunction with what we term a coordinator, ensures that the village production team has the timber, the drawings and the other essentials to craft the product into the specialty of that particular area. Each village has its own specialized sets of tools to complete their aspect of the crafting of the furniture. The work in progress is then moved to the next village for further enhancements which include polishing, spraying and finishing. In the final process, our coordinator will take charge of the products and have them checked, boxed and placed in the container ready for shipment to the United States. We have working under our direction, in an informal manner, some 60 artisans and their helpers. In order to maintain consistency, each batch is crafted by the same teams.

Excellent o.co customer service
This was the first time I have purchased furniture online and also via Overstock and will be a returning customer. The actual product was spot on to the description's color and size. However, it was slightly damaged during shipping - I think it shipped from the west coast to the east coast. Some of the wood was pulled apart on the back in strips and will need to be fixed professionally. Additionally, there were painted wood chips scattered throughout the box from the table's interior shelving. The reason I am giving this review four stars is due to Overstock's prompt response. Shortly after reporting the damage and requesting a refund, I was granted one in full with an apology. At this point it was up to the carrier service to follow up regarding responsibility, which they never did. The buffet table is still fully functional and looks great in my place, granted nobody looks at the back. The refund will go nicely towards the eventual repairs. Well done, Overstock!

Perfection!
This piece fits perfectly in my dining area- and the color brings the perfect amount of pop to the room. I am so happy I purchased when I did, I have been eyeing this piece for a while. It doesn't require assembly; SOLD on that fact alone!

Great Looking!
When I first received this buffet table, it was damaged - Overstock took care of everything, can't say enough about their customer service, I did not have to do a thing but make one phone call! The second one I got was perfect - it looks great in my living room. No assembly needed, extra bonus. I was not sure about spending this much on something sight unseen, but it is just like the photo, and looks great.

Arrived with many problems.
I arrived with a cracked top corner. The right door was disconnected and broken. 3 screws were stripped on the doors. The quality was poor, especially for the price. It is too bad because the color and size was perfect. Overstock responded to my problems and quickly refunded my money. Thanks, Overstock. You were very supportive.

Perfection
This is in my bungalow kitchen with a TV on it. It has plenty of storage space inside for cookbooks or staples and really adds a vintage and worldly flavor to the room. So glad I went for it! This item arrived perfect and ready right out of the box.

Gorgeous but very broken, otherwise 5 stars.
Beautiful Harring Wood Buffet Table, so sad to see it go. This piece is absolutely beautiful. It looks to have been made with love and painted gingerly. Imagine my surprise to see that it was cracked in the back and along the side and had a falling shelf. Interestingly enough, another review had the same exact flaws. So either this is a design flaw or they repackaged her returned item and sent it to the next person. Either way, not acceptable. However, customer service at Overstock quickly refunded me for this piece and had been remarkable. Unfortunately, out of 6 ordered pieces and 5 arrivals thus far, only 1 arrived in good condition and was packaged appropriately.

Even better than I expected!
I would have liked this cabinet a little deeper, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing. Unbelievable how striking it is in my living room. I have a lot of decorating books and they fit perfectly and look great. I get a lot of company and everyone always asks me where I got it.
