I bought this for my sister who has everything. This scarf was something she did not have and she loved it. The colors were very rich and beautiful. It came in its own box and was a beautiful gift. The box makes it look more expensive. She was very impressed. It made a great Christmas gift.

I purchased the scarf as a gift. Overall, it was a good buy for the cost. I would say that it is more brown in appearance than gold as depicted.

I was highly dissapointed. It appears to be smaller and the color/pattern does not appear to be like the one in the photo at all. BUT it feels lovely! I was disappointed but it feels good so I will keep it. It will serve my purposes and it serves a good cause.

I decided to keep the scarf but I'm not overwhelmed. It *is* very soft and easy to drape, and the box is a nice touch if you're using it as a gift. I agree w/a previous reviewer who said it looks smaller than the photo. But my biggest beef is the colors: it looks much more rich and metallic in the picture. In reality, it's tan/brown with little "pop". Still good for my wardrobe, but I wasn't wowed.

This is a beautiful scarf, but the "golden" colors in the photo are actually more of a brown color. I wear a lot of brown, so not a problem... but you should just be aware of this when ordering.

I gave this to my eldest sister. All she said how much she love it and keep asking me where I got it. It looks cool but it keeps you warm. Nice color and very sophisticated.

I gave this item to two very special people in my life, that are completely different in lifestyle, HOWEVER they both loved it. One of them loved the story behind the item and loved the quality of it, the other loved it's versatility. I recommend this item for any mature woman that you are just lost in figuring out what to give.

the scarf was beautiful as was the box it came in. the only downside is that shipping can take a LONG time so plan accordingly...

I bought this scarf for my mom who misses traditional Malaysian batik apparel/ accessories. The scarf is gorgeous but is very thin because it is silk so I wouldn't recommend it for warmth, just accessorizing. The pattern is lovely- gold, ivory, and neutral colors- and is perfect over black or white outfits. Wonderful gift. Beautiful scarf, great price.

This is a beautiful scar. Comes in a cute box ready for gift wrapping. When it arrived it had an unusual smell; however, the quality is excellent. Extremely soft.

I am completely thrilled with this scarf, as is my sister who got it for Christmas. The colors are gorgeous and the silk feels fantastic. It is a bit shorter than I expected, but looking at the picture again it is accurate to what is shown--but it is really the perfect length to cross under a dress jacket. Beautiful workmanship!

Beautiful scarf. Absolutely beautiful. Came in a lovely gift box = ready for giving. I did buy it as a gift but may keep it for myself. Delivery was later than expected but worth the wait.

I read the reviews and took a chance anyway with the advice from a customer service employee at O who had seen this item. HE was RIGHT ON !!! IT comes in a very special Presendation Box with the name of the craftsperson on the card and with the seal from National Geographic on it. You know you are getting a one of a kind scarf, not a over-precessed machine made work of trash, but a one of a kind, all hand made, with much care and beauty, piece of art. Mine had very much gold in it as well as touches of orange and green, so lovely. Having watched much PBS TV and how this process is done, I appreciate each scarf, no matter how much of one color is on one item. IF your read the descriptions, it clearly says each is made by hand and by my thinking, each would be different. Love and cherish mine. Thank you O for the adventure! Epoole

this scarf is truely georgous. The quality and workmanship is exceptional. I would reccommend this scarf for special occasions or everyday use.

I was disappointed when I received the scarf because it did not look as nice as the one depicted in the photo. Unlike the photo, there wasn't much gold in it at all; it was much more brown than gold and quite smaller than the photo made it seem. I think it would be more helpful to customers if they placed another photo that better reflects the scarf 's appearance.
