Wife loved it.
The ring was a gift for my wife and It was a hit. It looks more expensive by far than the price. In particular while it does not show on the pictures the design engraving continues all the way around the ring. Quite a nice piece.

Lovely ring! Amethyst is a beautiful, brillant shade of purple, not pale by any means. The silver work is art in itself extending all the way around to and including the shank of the ring. Silver weight is great, not cheaped on the underside of the ring. Nice undercarriage to protect the stone and to keep it from turning on your finger. Stone is approximately 4 karats , would have liked the diameter of the ring to be a bit larger but, I am 5'11. Very bold for petite girls , just bold enough for me. The ring does run a bit small. I normally wear an 8.5 on my left middle finger, 9 fits just right, a little snug in the am. Much prettier in person. Great value! Expediant shipping, Thanks O !

Very Pleased - But too big
I purchased this ring because of all the wonderful reviews. It is a very large ring and the sizing seems to be off a bit. I ordered a 6 and according to the size chart printed on Overstock, it measures at a size 8. I love the color but I am still on the fence about returning it.

What a beauty!
I got the last size 9! So glad I did! This is a lovely ring. Stone is very nice medium purple, and good size. The silver work is beautiful, and the ring is substantial. It's stamped inside with 925, the silver standard. I like big and bold, so this is my kind of ring. This is not a ring for people that like dainty pieces! Like all rings with wide bands, you need to go a size larger. I see it has sold out. Perhaps they will bring it back, but for those of us who were lucky enough to get - we are the winners. Thanks Overstock!

Very Nice
This is the second Indonesian ring that I've gotten and I am as impressed with this one as much as the first ring (blue topaz). The metal work is very detailed, both on the outside as well as the inside. The ring has a nice weight so you feel like you are wearing a ring. The cuts on the stone are much more detailed than you can see from the photo and they add a lot of sparkle. My stone is not as purple as in the photo, but more purple to light purple gradations.

Great ring!
Brought this ring for my daughter. Amethyst is her birthstone but she didn't like the typical style that you find in birthstone rings. She loved this ring when she saw it. It fit well, has great detailing and the quality is very nice for the price.

Love this ring!
Love, love, love this ring. Style is what I love. Only negative is that there are small holes on the back of the stone so moisture and dirt can get stuck on underside of stone. If you have an ultrasonic cleaner, it helps with cleaning. Not a big negative. If you don't take it off often, moisture can't dry out from underside of stone.

Beautiful Ring but sized small
I bought this for my sister and she was thrilled. It could have easily cost double the price and still been a bargain. She wears a 7 and the ring was too small so I reordered in a 9 perfect and my daughter with dainty hands was happy with her surprise bounty. This is February's birthstone so time to take advantage of this beautiful piece of jewelry.
