I just received my boxes today. They are absolutely beautiful & the workmanship is excellent. The lids close evenly & snugly, which will keep your jewelry from being exposed to the air & therefore tarnish-free. The wood has a nice natural grain & luster. They are actually a bit larger than I expected so each will hold several items of jewelry. I'm glad I bought 2 sets. I've seen similar boxes selling for upwards of $30 for just one & I got 6 for that price. I'm going to line the inside bottoms with silver tarnish repellent cloth & give them individually as Christmas gifts, keeping one for myself, of course!
