This unique handcrafted rosewood side table/cabinet from India makes a stunning addition to any room in the house. Crafted in the harsh Thar Desert of India, this table is made from native woods by local artisans.

Story Behind the Art:
This product was created in Central India. When the British removed its armed forces from the region in the late 40s a majority of the industries available for the local economy went with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. Several hub cities of industry have flourished, creating numerous, sustainable, and stable jobs for the people of the surrounding villages. The industry that has been created by products like this has created an unprecedented number of schools, hospitals, and improvements in the infrastructure of the area. This industry has truly created a renaissance in economic growth in the region.

Rosewood Nightstand
Really nice rich, reddish-brown wooden nightstand. Also makes a great living room end table. Nice quality for the price. I wasn't fond of the rust colored door pulls; changed them to antique glass knobs. Would definitely recommend this small table as an accent piece.

Great product, can't recommend it enough. I wanted to order two a year ago but it was a bit pricey for me at the time. Just went back now to order a second, but unfortunately the brown option is not it stock :( Great, great, great product - came assembled and is solid wood, beautifully rendered, you don't find pieces like this anymore! P.S. Overstock, please re-stock "brown" !!

Beautiful Nightstand
The white nightstand is simply gorgeous and the distressing is perfect. It is well built and very sturdy. It is on the smaller side so perfect for more compact spaces. Overall, I'm very impressed with both the look and quality of this piece of furniture.

Great nightstand!
I absolutely love this night stand! For the brief period of time I've had it I've received many complements. It's a unique piece with a lot of character. The bottom cabinet can store a bunch of stuff! I was able to squeeze far more stuff in the cabinet than I originally planned for which was great. I love it so much that I'm hoping to buy another! It's also great because the nightstand does not take up a lot of space yet it's deep enough to be able to use for storage space. The top drawer is also great for storage although sometimes the drawer gets stuck when trying to close. Overall I love this night stand! It's really made for a great addition to my bedroom.

NO PARTICAL BOARD!
Bought them for our lake house as bedroom night stands. They are exactly what we needed without paying way too much for hardwood furniture. No metal drawer guides and cheap hinges but a decent finish. They look somewhat rustic which was the look we wanted.

Another great Wordstock piece
I have several pieces of furniture from the Worldstock collection, and once again, I am not disappointed. The "brown" is a reddish brown that blends nicely with my medium cherry bedroom furniture. The construction is solid, and as advertised, all wood. It was packaged very carefully, and I was glad it was already assembled once I got it out of the box. It is also light enough that I (140 lb female) was able to carry it up the stairs with no problem. I highly recommend it if you need a table or nightstand for a smaller space.

An excellent value!
I needed a white bedstand with a contrasting top for one of the guestrooms in our new home. I have a whitewashed headboard and wanted to be sure the bedstand complimented the headboard. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and style of this rosewood side table. I highly recommend it to others.

Great looking night stands, perfect size, small but holds a lot, enough room to put an alarm clock and lamp on night stand with plenty of storage in draw and cabinet below drawer.

AMAZING
These are fantasitc tables, just the right size, arrived in perfect condition, I just love them, the drawer holds more then expected, the bottom part is nice and roomy. I'm very glad I went with these, they don't take up much room but give you alot out of it. I have a lamp, picture frame and still have room for a coaster and my kindle to sit on top. Very pleased.
