Story Behind the Art:
Individually handcrafted by Fitri Indah and her co-workers. Our artists and their predecessors have been creating shawls using century old techniques which are well known throughout the world. Fitri's creations are made with premium rayon using the technique of block stamping batik. Each batik scarf is a work of art which can take hours, sometimes days, to create depending on the level of difficulty of the design.
What is Worldstock?
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

Beautiful
The scarves I ordered are soft and very colorful. I purchased raspberry, turquoise, and pink. All three scarves are batiked on pale blue fabric, and then the dominate color is overlayed. They are a perfect length for springtime wear with a t-shirt. They have a fringe at the bottom that is not too long. Because they are done in batik, each is one is different and really, really cute. This is a great purchase!

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The scarves are lightweight rayon and perfect for spring. The colors are rich.
