This is a beautiful item, clearly handmade from unique Guatemalan textiles. We were happily surprised at the functionality of the quilt, though--it is very heavy and soft, quite warm at night. The price was extremely reasonable for a bedspread of this quality. We also got very good service from Overstock--they sent the wrong color first, but we got through to someone on the Chat line and they replaced it with the right one in a matter of days and sent us a free shipping label to return the wrong one. All in all, a very satisfactory shopping experience!

This quilt is so beautiful and adds a lot of character and energy to the room. We love it, but it is very heavy so my husband does not like it as much as I do, though we both appreciate its beauty. The colors do fade over time after several washings, and we get a lot of sunlight in our room as we are in sunny Utah, and those have caused the color to fade over the past 3 years, but it is still gorgeous. A lot of fun to own!

This quilt exceeded my expectations. There is a perfectly balanced array of colors and patterns that create a stunning piece. The quality is excellent. I would highly recommend this to anyone searching for the colors that these quilts are offered in. Interior designers take note!

This quilt is absolutely beautiful. After one washing the colors really begin to show through. It's thin but super warm and comfy. Has a vinigary smell from the dye, but that also goes away with the washing. Buy the pillows if you can, they really set this off. I got the rust colored one and we use it in our master bedroom, we're always getting compliments. Beautiful and well priced.

Have a full size bed and bought this and the other in the blue for my guest room. They are well made and very happy with my purchases. I really like overstock and do recommend to friends

This is not so much a quilt as it is a heavy, lined bedspread. Considering its substantial weight, it provides surprisingly little warmth, probably because it has no loft or batting, and the lining is dense enough to prevent much air entrapment. That said, it is a beautiful piece of workmanship, very well crafted using gorgeous fabrics. I would recommend it more for warm-weather use, as I am about to fold mine up and replace it with a comforter until spring.

I bought this for my daughter. The colors are vibrant and the quality good. The fabic is soft. Had a slight smell on opeining that dissapated quickly. She absolutely loved it. I would be purchase again.

I bought the yellow/green and the color was much brighter than the picture. Unfortunately, that color didn't work for us so we didn't keep the quilt. I liked it very much and wish it came in other colors as i would buy it in a minute!

Love this! My husband liked it also. It's nice and warm and a great weight. We ordered the king size for our tall queen size bed and added a black bed skirt. It makes the quilt pop. We also ordered the blue quilt. That one is also beautiful. Thank you very much Overstock for a lovely product.

First, for those of you looking for a "quilt", this is not! It is a heavy bedspread, fully lined on the back. The quality is awesome. The colors for mine were very deep and rich. It is definitely rust in color. If you are familiar with the "red rock" in Arizona, you know to expect a very deep, deep rust complimented with black, some turquoise stitching hidden away and some bits of green. It does come with "hanging" tabs so if you wanted to use it as wall art, you can. It fits very nicely on a King bed with lots of hang on each side. If you are looking for a quilt, this isn't for you. However, the way they have backed it with material, if you are a good seamstress, you could open a side and use it as a duvet cover! Or stuff it! I am so pleased I am going to buy the blue one!

I ordered these spreads in both colors, and it was as hard to choose in person as it was online. The colors are rich, the weight of the material is nice, and the overlook is charming--interesting, unusual, good quality.

This quilt is light weight and comfortable for a summer quilt. I'm not sure that it will be heavy enough enough for winter. The top layer fabric is high quality, but seems darker than I envisoned based on the picture. I'm very happy with this product.

I love my quilt. I've had it for about a year. I have washed it in my washing machine once and am getting ready to do so again. It held it's color did not fade a bit. The only reservation I have is that I noticed one seam has pulled away and I will fix that. But, that is normal wear and tear especially since it has been used daily as a cover and a blanket for the past year. It is a beautiful piece of art on our bed. I just hope the women of Guatamela are fully compensated for their fabulous work.

The quilt is beautifully rich in appearance but just a tad over overpriced.

Although I would not call this product a 'quilt', as the top is pieced fabric but has no quilting stitches binding the top and bottom fabrics together, it is well worth the money. A friend of mine purchased the rust-colored quilt, so I decided to buy the gold one. This thing is beautiful!!! The fabric on the top is fine, a much denser fabric than a typical quilt. It is backed with a plain black cotton fabric and has tabs on one side for hanging, if you choose. But mine is on the bed where I can use it and really enjoy the feel of this fabulous fabric.Also, I have a queen-size bed, but bought the king-size, which offers enough fabric to hang well below the mattress itself and has enough fabric to cover the pillows in the fashion of a bedspread.

I purchased the red/earth Patchwork quilt from Guatamala and it is very nice, the colors are true and the workmanship is excellent. I am using it draped over a brown leather couch and it looks great. I would recommend this item to anyone wanting more color in a room.

Beautiful colors - I got the red - and very nice, heavy cotton quilt. I bought the king size for my queen bed and it's nicely oversized. Very warm but not overly so. I would buy another in a different color - actually I may! I have not washed it yet but it is heavily stitched so I do not anticipate an issue.

The quilt is very sharp looking - vivid colors and appears to be well made. I fully support the concept behind Worldstock!

So sad this wasn't as good as I hoped. I thought the patchwork pieces would be all woven--most were just fabric with a few woven pieces as part of the patchwork pattern. Some of the woven pieces were very loose weave and they puckered up..I was afraid those would catch and tear real easy. The biggest disappointment was the backing. One giant piece of lightweight black fabric...not stitched down, not tied down anywhere...like a quilt or comforter should be...only attached around the edges..I did return the quilt for a refund..and do have to give Overstock.com 5 stars for the return process.

It's always a gamble buying something because it looks so attractive online. I wish there were half stars because, really, this isn't an average or good product, it's better than that, but not exactly 100% satisfying to me. I think if I'd seen this in a store I wouldn't have considered buying it for the price, I"d have tried to find something cheaper. But it is beautiful and the size I was looking for. I am going to use it as a tapestry on a very dull bedroom wall that I don't want to paint.
