Sarongs are individually handcrafted by artists on the exotic islands of Bali and Java in beautiful Indonesia. These artists and their predecessors have been creating sarongs for centuries and are well-known throughout the world for their skill, creativity and expertise. Specifically their skills in batik, which many of our sarongs are made using this art of batik. Batik is a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master and sons and daughters start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Measurements may vary slightly.

Great color
I have been looking for a dark blue sarong for a while. Most of the blues I found were too bright, but this sarong was just the right shade with a subtle smoke pattern to go with my hard to match swimsuit. The material is soft and not at all sheer - for modest coverage.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? The deep navy color was exactly what I was hoping for.
